Garlic Parmesan Aioli

Italian Sausage Gnocchi Bake

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy/whipping cream
  • ¼ cup Silver Spring Garlic Parmesan Aioli
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 pound potato gnocchi
  • 1.5 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil to taste
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Saute the sausage over medium-high heat, breaking it up as you cook, until browned (about 5–7 minutes).
  2. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the chicken broth, cream, Silver Spring Garlic Parmesan Aioli, lemon juice, sun-dried tomatoes, and gnocchi to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the pan, and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Uncover, stir the gnocchi, then add the spinach. Cover again and cook for 1–2 minutes, until the spinach has wilted.
  6. Stir in the parmesan and basil. Ensure the gnocchi is cooked through and the sauce has thickened to your liking. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
