A Heritage of Flavor.

In 1929, Ellis Huntsinger began growing and processing horseradish and other crops on a few acres of land near a freshwater spring in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Thus, Huntsinger Farms and Silver Spring Foods were born.

Nearly one hundred years later the business is family-owned and operated, proudly rooted in the principals and traditions set forth by Ellis. Countless innovations have been made but the foundation of caring for people, the environment, and making food more flavorful is still at the heart of the operation.
