Ingredients:
-
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
2 tablespoons Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish (adjust to taste)
-
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
½ cup finely chopped green onions (optional)
-
½ cup finely shredded mozzarella or Parmesan (for coating)
-
For decorating:
-
Mini carrot (for the nose)
-
Whole peppercorns or black olives (for eyes and buttons)
-
Pretzel sticks (for arms)
-
Fresh herbs or scarf (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and green onions (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Divide the mixture into three portions: one large, one medium, and one small. Roll each into a ball. Chill for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Roll each ball in the shredded mozzarella or Parmesan so it looks like snow. Stack the balls from largest to smallest to form a snowman.
- Use a mini carrot for the nose, peppercorns or olives for eyes and buttons, and pretzel sticks for arms. Add a herb scarf or a sprinkle of parsley “snow” for fun.
- Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy with crackers, pretzels, or veggie sticks!
