Mustard Cream Cheese Pinwheels

Jalapeño Mustard Stone Ground Mustard

Mustard Cream Cheese Pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz Silver Spring Mustard of Choice: Stone Ground or Jalapeno Mustard
  • 3 oz Cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 can store-bought crescent roll dough
  • Bacon bits
  • Bamboo skewers

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Open can of crescent dough and unroll to one flat sheet.
  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Mix together cream cheese with Silver Spring Stone Ground or Jalapeno Mustard.
  5. Spread the mustard cream cheese mix evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle onion, then bacon bits over the dough.
  7. From one end, carefully roll the dough forming a log shape.
  8. With a serrated bread knife, cut log into ½ inch pieces and place flat on sheet pan.
  9. Bake in 375 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until pinwheels are golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven, transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.
  11. Skewer 2-3 pinwheels and add to a loaded bloody mary.
