Roast Beef & Horseradish Cheese Baked Sliders

Roast Beef & Horseradish Cheese Baked Sliders

Ingredients:
  • 1 yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter divided
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 Kings Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 cup Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish
  • 12 slices of Horseradish cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices of roast beef deli meat
  • 1/4 tsp oregano dried
Directions:
  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. melt 1 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium low heat
  3. add in the onion, brown sugar and salt, stir and cook until soften, 5 to 10 minutes
  4. remove to a bowl and set aside
  5. place the bottom of the rolls in a baking dish
  6. lay out 6 slices of cheese over the roll bottoms
  7. place 1 slice of roast beef on each roll, you will have to bunch it up to fit
  8. spoon about a tsp of the onions over each roast beef slice
  9. spoon the Silver Spring Prepared Horseradish on next
  10. lay out the remaining 6 slices of cheese over the top of those
  11. place the tops of the roll on top of the cheese
  12. melt remaining butter and brush over the tops of the rolls
  13. sprinkle with the oregano
  14. place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melty and great

 

* Recipe Notes - You can use Silver Spring Cream Style Horseradish instead for a smoother finish. If you're having trouble finding horseradish cheese (try the deli counter), you can use regular cheddar cheese.
