Silver Spring Foods invited to speak at Purdue University

Posted:

Silver Spring had the privilege of being invited to speak to the Culinary Arts for the Food Scientist students at Purdue University November, 19th. The students learned how to cook with mustard as an ingredient. They cooked two Silver Spring recipes – Stuffed Mushroom Caps and Shrimp Edamame Pasta. They got to create a unique pork tenderloin recipe, with the mustard of their choice. They were extremely creative and it was a great learning experience for us and them.

The food pictures can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SilverSpringFoodsInc, and Twitter @SilvSprngFoods. We also have an array of cooking videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/SilverSpringFoods.

Silver Spring Foods is the world’s largest grower and processor of horseradish. They are unique in providing a farm-to-table experience for the consumer.
